Video wall

The advertising industry doesn't stand in the same place,  there are novelties every year. One of the modern developments is a video wall. What opportunities does it have? It is a split screen which can show the accurate and bright video image. It consists of separate video cubes or panels (plasma, LCD). The system is controlled by  software or installed controler. It gives the chance to display information of big size on the screen. This option is perfectly suitable for large audience. You can buy equipment or rent it. It's one more way to receive the desirable device at the acceptable price.

Constructive opportunities

The modular technology allows to create walls of various sizes and a forms, to show necessary information on it. The image is united, qualitative and bright even when a lot of  built-in modules are used. We use video walls or video cubes to make a volume split screen. They are installed in a special way: gaps between separate elements have to be minimal. Uniformity of the image is checked after receiving a necessary configuration. Gaps can be 1-2 mm, no more. This condition also provides the quality of picture. Total quality of the image depends on how many modules are used in creation of the whole system. 

Often our clients buy video cubes consisting of an intensifying light screen, projector and special system of mirrors. It's necessary to make a video wall. The received split screen has a standard ratio of the sides 16:9 or 4:3. These parameters are convenient for viewing by visitors. There is a possibility of recognition, control of quality and brightness of the image, color calibration. Control can be manual but it's better to trust to experts who will make everything in the automatic mode. 

What can be used as a source of information projection:

• laptops;

• computer networks;

• telemetric equipment;

• players;

• video cameras;

• special systems of videoconferences and other technical devices which are capable to create the quality image.

The main part of all system is the controler, it manages the general control, accepts a signal, processes it, stores information with the subsequent conclusion to the screen  if necessary. 

Different controlers are used:

• general controller which works with all system, provides quality, adjustment, control;

• separate controlers which work with a concrete element of a split screen.

The external controler isn't obligatory but it improves quality of the image. If there are a lot of sources of receiving video signal or a screen has big size, it is necessary to use the additional operating equipment.

Management is carried out in full accordance with the set scenario which is necessary for a concrete advertising campaign. The controler can submit any image which arrives not only from one source but from several sources to a split screen. There is an opportunity to use the integrated image. Each model of the screen can work separately from others. There is an opportunity to zone showing of demonstration material. For example a video will be shown on one part of the screen and explaining information will be shown on the other part.

Elements of the video wall

A thin seam video wall consists of several separate elements. The basic is a video cube. The split screen is constructed from such devices. It is uniform construction which includes the built-in modern projector, mirror system, an intensifying light screen. It's possible to call this cube as a screen of return projection. The diagonal of one projector is from 40 inches to 100. The screens with diagonal of 50-67 inches are often used for showrooms and  at presentations. If you want to work in the open air you have to install screens of bigger sizes.

Various video cubes can be used:

• two-lamp and one-lamp. In the first case we include automatic replacement of lamps if it is necessary;

• with frontal or rear access;

• possibility of use of a video cube as a separate element, and not just together with all system of a video wall.

Different technical devices are used as projectors. It can be micromirror projectors, you can also use usual video cameras, laptops, etc. As sources of the image videorecorders, Internet, conference communication, etc. will be good.

It is possible to order the equipment of any complete set, also it's possible to rent a video wall if its use is planned only for an exhibition or separate presentation. Cost isn't high, it depends on the size, quantity of elements, complexity of recorded video, programming and other parameters.

Advantages of video walls

3. It is convenient to install and serve the construction. They have frontal access so it's easy to replace any element without problems. 

4. Devices are created for the round-the-clock working. The resource of projectors of video cubes ensures continuous functioning of installation for 10 years. Video walls can be used at bright lighting of halls and on the open areas.

5. The construction allows to show different information, achieving coverage of considerable target audience.

6. The video wall serves as a perspective advertising show-window where you easily can change the shown product samples. The represented models won't become dusty, burn out or lose the appearance as natural products do.
